PROFIX is a cement based high performance adhesive with reduced slip and extended open time.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

*Application temperature range of 5oC - 35oC.
*It should not be applied to the surfaces subject to the risk of freezing.
*Avoid of application when the weather is too humid or too hot.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

Indoor and outdoor granite and ceramic applications, swimming pools, water tanks , in underfloor heating surfaces and tiles of cold storage places.
Floor and wall bonding of all types of ceramic tiles, marbles and decorative tiles , cementitious screeds and concrete.
Bonding of tiles on existing ceramic tile.

APPLICATION

Pour 25 kg of PROFIX into 6,5-7,5 litres of clean water slowly and mix with a low speed mixer to obtain a homogeneous mixture free from lumps.
After resting it for 5 minutes remix it for 1-2 minutes. PROFIX is reday to use. Spread the mortar onto the substrate then notch with the toothed side of trowel. Open time is 30 minutes. Install the tiles within this period with pressure.It is beter to apply PROFIX for both of the surfaces for the use of granites and big sizes of the ceramic tiles.

SURFACE PREPARATION

*All substrates must be strong ,dry, clean and free from oil, grease,dust .
*Surface irregularities, cracks and holes should be repaired by use of YAPIPLUS, ATIŞKAN Repair Mortar.
*The substrates must be primed with BETONTAK BINDER before bonding of tiles on existing ceramic tiles.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

*The specified times are for the ambient temperature at 20oC; it takes longer at lower temperature, and shorter at high temperature.
*Never add any foreign materials.
*Clean all tools and hands with water after application.
